GST on apartment if OC is received before legal sale deed but after bookingReport
Please briefly explain why you feel this question should be reported .
I booked an apartment on 20th Jan 2019, and booking letter has details of pricing & GST etc. However the legal agreement (sale deed) is not yet done. In the meantime, the apartment has got the Occupation Certificate (OC).
Now OC has received, before the legal sale agreement, can builder still ask for the 12% GST on the agreed price as per booking letter.
As I know, GST is not applicable if the apartment is ready to move (OC received).
